It’s NFL draft week, so the waiting and guessing for who the Arizona Cardinals might pick at No. 4 and No. 27 is almost over.
Though the projection game is almost over, there is still time to dream ahead of Thursday’s, April 27, first round.
So until then, let’s look at three players that should be on the Cardinals Round 1 wishlist.
WR Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State
Though the Cardinals may trade out of pick No. 4 if the franchise elects to keep its top-five selection, Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is a more than intriguing option for Arizona.
Harrison is a true top wide receiver. Inside Drew Petzing’s offense, he could reach the level of production familiar to him during his career at Ohio State.
The 6-foot-4 wide receiver is considered one of the best non-quarterback prospects in recent memory. It would be a dream to pair him with Kyler Murray, who is looking to return to elite form.
WR Rome Odunze, Washington
Again, if the Cardinals elect to keep its top-five selection, and Harrison is off the board, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze is also a prospect to dream about.
Arizona met with Odunze and was impressed with his skill set, making his placement of a wishlist of players an understandable one.
Odunze’s 6-foot-3, 212-pound frame would be a welcome addition to a Cardinals WR depth chart that’s been asking for more size at the position. He has already been compared to Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald – paired with Murray, he could live up to that potential.
Edge Chop Robinson, Penn State
At pick No. 27, a player that may be available for the Cardinals is Chop Robinson, an imposing edge threat who can help revitalize Arionza’s defense.
Robinson reportedly had a Top-30 visit with the Cardinals and met with the team at the combine where he ran a 4.48 40-yard dash.
His first step, burst and overall athleticism are among the best at his position. He is more of an athlete than a football player. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t live up to his potential at the NFL level with a little training.
