The Washington Commanders’ roster stood at 93 players after the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft, so it was only a matter of time before the team released whomever needed in order to get under the league’s 90-man roster limit.
We have released LB Brandon Bouyer-Randle, CB D’Angelo Mandell and DE Joshua Pryor

It did just that on Tuesday. The Commanders announced the release linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle, cornerback D’Angelo Mandell, and defensive end Joshua Pryor.
Bouyer-Randle and Mandell have yet to play an NFL snap in their career, while Pryor appeared in seven games, last year. He recorded a tackle on his lone defensive snap, while playing 157 special teams snaps for the Commanders. The roster now sits at 90 players, but offensive lineman Haggai Ndubuisi is part of the NFL’s International Pathway Program, so he doesn’t occupy a spot, right now.
