The Milwaukee Brewers had catcher Martin Maldonado on the big league roster from 2011-2016. Following that he bounced around a bit by playing with the Los Angeles Angels, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, and the Chicago Cubs.

Despite having a few different stints with the Astros from 2017-2019, Maldonado was able to consistently call Houston home for each of the past four seasons. At the end of the 2023 season he became a free agent and Houston ended up signing former Brewers catcher Victor Caratini. .
