Will Kamari Lassiter be a day one starter next to Derek Stingley Jr. for the Houston Texans?
The most surprising team of the 2023 NFL season were undoubtedly the Houston Texans. CJ Stroud ran away with Offensive Rookie of The Year and the club throttled the Cleveland Browns in the AFC Wild Card game before being humbled by the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round.
The Texans parted ways with their first-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for an extra second-round pick, as well as future draft capital. The extra second rounder helped the club remain in the second round after they sent their own second rounder to the Buffalo Bills for Pro Bowl wideout, Stefon Diggs.
When their pick finally rolled around on day two, the Texans decided to select their potential number two cornerback in Georgia’s Kamari Lassiter.
