Kirk Cousins hasn’t played a single snap in a Falcons jersey, but he’s already making his rounds in Atlanta.
It began last week when Atlanta’s new quarterback attended the Masters. Cousins and his wife, Julie, who is an Atlanta-area native, took in one of the greatest spectacles in all of sports at Augusta National, sharing with Marty Smith his love for golf.

“We joined a house about an hour south of my hometown,” Cousins said. “I’d play, walk the course. I’d say to my wife, this was the best thing I’ll do all summer, but I can’t rationalize the hour drive there. What I want is to be able to walk the fairway with my boss for the rest of our lives and just spend time together.”
Though he may have a difficult time with the weather, Cousins is expected to throw out the first pitch of the series finale for the Braves and Rangers, according to 92.9’s Caleb Johnson.
But he isn’t done! Last night, Kirk Cousins attended the Atlanta United game.

Cousins was Atlanta United’s special guest who got to hammer the ceremonial golden spike ahead of the club’s match against Cincinnati FC on Saturday.
The new Falcons quarterback is quickly immersing himself in everything the city has to offer.
