New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr had a tumultuous year one with the team, but he showed flashes of really good play in the second half of the season. Fans were not easy on him, but he has embraced the local community during the offseason.
Saints center Erik McCoy posted a picture with Carr at a local New Orleans crawfish boil.

Carr has gotten involved in the community on multiple occasions during this offseason. Expect more of that as the season approaches for the Saints.
For Carr, he must build on year one. He’s got a shiny, new OC in Klint Kubiak, and that duo must impress in order for the Saints to get back on top of the NFC South.
